Alaina manages Special Love’s grant prospects, proposals, and charity platforms. She also maintains communications and relationships with fund providers and stakeholders, as well as assists in fundraising events.
Through a college literature course, Alaina discovered her passion for child welfare, specifically for those whose welfare is compromised by factors beyond their control. Her love for writing and deeply held belief that every child deserves a supportive, joyful childhood brought her to Special Love in May of 2024.
Alaina received her B.A. in English from Shippensburg University. In college, she gained invaluable professional experience as an editor and the Public Relations Chair for a literary arts magazine. She began her career in nonprofit development at her local animal welfare organization. Here, she discovered her passion for fundraising and using her skills to give back to her community.
Outside of work, she enjoys drawing, crafting, baking, and reading. She loves spending time with her loved ones and her cat.
