This November, Special Love hosted its annual Parents Getaway Weekend welcoming parents of pediatric cancer patients, survivors, and bereaved families to reconnect, recharge, and find support among those who truly understand their journey. Held at the beautiful Hyatt Regency in Tysons Corner, VA, the weekend offered a mix of relaxation, camaraderie, and a dash of Texas flair!

Parents Getaway Weekend is unique in its mission: planned by parents, for parents. It creates a safe and nurturing environment where parents affected by cancer can share experiences, receive emotional support, and rediscover a sense of control over their lives. An Unforgettable Texas Rodeo Night

The highlight of the weekend was the Saturday night Texas Rodeo Dinner Dance, where attendees put on their cowboy boots and embraced the spirit of the Lone Star State.
