William “Billy” Cannon III is an attorney at Offit Kurman, P.A., acting as an Associate Attorney, Landlord Representation Group, December 2012-July 2017, Principal Attorney, Landlord Representation Group, July 2017-present, and Practice Group Leader, Landlord Representation Group, September 2018-present. His work is practice focused on representation of owners and property managers of residential and commercial real estate, including the drafting of leases, fair housing compliance, and all litigation associated with leasing, including tenant holdover, breach of lease and wrongful detainer actions. Practice focused on the District of Columbia and includes representation of landlords in the District of Columbia Superior Court, the Office of Administrative Hearings and before the Office of Human Rights. He received a B.A. in Philosophy from Loyola College, his law degree from Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, and a Poetry M.F.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park.
