Shari Fisher, LCSW has been deeply committed to Special Love for 30 years, first as a parent of a child with cancer, a volunteer for 10 years and for the past 15 years as a dedicated member of the Board of Directors. During her board service, she has held multiple leadership roles, including Past President, Secretary, and President‑Elect. A retired Social Worker, Shari brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work with Special Love. She is particularly passionate about parent programming and support and is involved at all levels of this work—from hands‑on volunteering to strategic planning—helping create spaces of connection, compassion, and practical guidance for parents and families navigating childhood cancer.
