Chuck Bell has been a meteorologist with the News4 StormTeam since October 2004.  Over those 20+ years Chuck has worn many hats. First hired as a weather producer and reporter, he was promoted to weekend weather anchor in 2009. He was promoted to weekday mornings in 2014 and has been a staple on News4Today ever since. His forecast can be seen every Monday through Friday from 4:30-9:00am.   Chuck is active on social media and has spoken to well over 10,000 school kids with campus visits. When not focusing on the forecast he is an avid runner. He had completed the Marine Corps Marathon 8 times and 12 other marathons around the country. When the weather is nice enough, he and his husband of 20 years enjoy cruising around DC and the Blue Ridge mountains in his vintage 1962 corvette. He’s owned that same car since 1994 and has still only driven it with the top up a handful of times.   In addition to Special Love, Chuck also donates time and effort to support wounded Veterans and local animal shelters.
