Let’s get back to camp!

We’re excited to be back to overnight camps this summer and we’re celebrating with a 40th anniversary Summer Family Day, too! We hope you can join us for the following fun events:

Summer Family Day (June 18, 2023)

Join us at Smokey Glen Farm BBQ for a day of games, mini-golf, zip lining, crafts, and amazing food. Consider it a sneak peek at
camp for those kids who may be on the fence for overnight camp, or a celebratory reunion for veteran families who can’t wait to reunite. Whatever reason you choose, your family will have an amazing day. Registration link coming soon to our Events Page!

BRASS Camp (for sibs)

Our annual salute to siblings is back! We’ll convene on July 23-29 at Camp Maria in Leonardtown, MD, for a week of fun, friendship, and adventure. The venue sits on the edge of Breton Bay (part of the Chesapeake Bay) so fishing, crabbing, and canoeing are part of the fun. There’s also a pool for swimming, campfires, and loads of sports and crafts. It’s all open to campers 7-17 who have a brother or sister within 5 years of treatment (or 7 years of a bone marrow transplant), as well
as bereaved sibs. Older teens are eligible to be CITs (counselors-in-training).

Camp Fantastic (for patients/survivors) – Our hallmark program is a week-long adventure for 7-17 patients and survivors who are within 5 years of treatment (or within 7 years of a bone marrow transplant). Medical care is provided on-site so campers can focus on fun – a ropes course, canoeing, swimming, cooking, sports, and more! Teens have exclusive lodging and programming and 16 and 17-year-olds can participate in our LIT (leaders in training) group.
