Quality family time is one of the hardest things for a family to find when their child has cancer. They need that time to reconnect as a family, share some fun and laughter, and strengthen their bond during a stressful time.
Special Love’s family programs are designed to do just that, by hosting opportunities throughout the year.
A cancer diagnosis changes every aspect of a family’s life. Next to the well-being of a child, a parent’s most pressing concern is often financial.
Special Love provides emergency financial relief to Special Love families, as well as families who have not yet participated in our programing, to help with non-medical financial needs through the Kathy Russell Emergency Relief Fund.
Expected to be our very first in-person weekend in over a year, so we’ll be pulling out all the stops for a fun time. Held at the Northern Virginia 4H Center, Front Royal, VA is open to the families of patients, survivors and bereaved families.
