Aaron Andrews is Special Love’s Director of Community Fundraising. You can often find Aaron working behind the scenes (or behind a camera) at Special Love programs or fundraising events, or in front of a gathering of a community group or organization sharing about the Special Love community.
Aaron has worked chiefly in the non-profit field since 2009 in the fields of education, family and human services, at-risk domestic and refugee youth services; and from 2019-2022, worked in fundraising and development with a child and family non-profit in Baltimore, MD. After moving closer to family in his hometown in the Eastern Panhandle of WV, Aaron found an incredible opportunity to work in his community and serve Children and Families by joining the team at Special Love in March of 2022!
When Aaron is not working with the Special Love team or out in the community, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Stacey, and 2 sons, Elijah and Caleb. Aaron enjoys playing music (preferably on guitars or vinyl records) carpentry, repairing “vintage” Subarus, Home Brewing/ Wine making, or chasing his Golden Retriever, Maizie, through the forests around his home in WV.
