Shari Fisher, LCSW Twenty-five years ago, Shari joined the childhood cancer community as the mother of a child with cancer, since then she has been an advocate for childhood cancer patients and their families and a volunteer for Special Love.  Shari has a passion to reach out to underserved populations, siblings and parents.  She was part of the team that initiated Special Love’s Parent Weekend.  She has a deep understanding of the complex needs of the Special Love community.  During her ten-year tenure on the board, she has served as board president and is currently chair of the resource development committee.  Shari is a retired clinical social worker.
